Memorising | School

So recently I've been having to memorise this French thing for an assessment. I have to memorise 3 pretty lengthy paragraphs all in a new language. As you can tell this is a difficult task!

Tips

1. Don't use words that you're not familiar with or that you've searched on google translate (they're harder to remember and speak)

2. Pick out the first sentence and write it down multiple times until you can write it without thinking or copying

3. Repeat with another sentence and then join them together so you know them

4. Continue doing this until you have finished your assessment

Another method:

1. Speak into a recorder and keep listening to in on repeat and say your paragraphs with the words on tape so it sticks into your brain

Last method:

1. Make posters, notes and songs so you can learn things in a better way! Stick them around your room and different places in your house & listen to the sofa whenever you can!

Spring | April Update

Long time no see. I'm back on this blog and I'd just like to say how sorry I am for the lack of posts. Recently I have been quite busy with school, swimming, dancing and I have to admit procrastination. I've wanted to post but I needed inspiration and now I have it. I want to post more photos than anything because 1 photo can speak more than 1000s of words and can be interpreted in many ways.

Warm weather - or April showers in the UK

Flower crowns - hair staple for the spring! Everything floral and pastel NEEDED

Beach waves, natural - who doesn't like the natural, beachy waves look? 

Frilly socks - these were all the rave last year and I built up quite a collection! A must-have essential!

Also don't forget - water! Hydration is key and I'm making it my mission to drink more water and maybe infused water?

Rimmel Apocalips Review

These lip lacquers have been favourites of mine for some time now. Recently I picked up two products from Rimmel and as it was on 3 for 2, I decided to buy on of these! 

The shade is 'Celestial'. The shade is very pretty, rose pink which I don't own many products in this colour. The shade basically matches my lip colour but gives it a more Rosy tint! 

The formula is really nice considering it is drugstore and it drys and sets in place. The look isn't matte, is still stays really glossy and shiny!

Overall I love this product!

Friday Update

This week has been the worst week. Monday was annoying at best. Tuesday was panicky and made me angry. Wednesday was meh. Thursday was good. Friday...not so great. Someone died, one of the teachers, and lots of people were so sad. 

But what annoyed me is the fact that someone was willing to back me up on Monday then by the time Tuesday came she decided that I'm not worth it. How pathetic? Then on Thursday she was back to being best friends with someone and started talking about me, thinking I wouldn't find out?! She thinks I'm jealous of her and one of my closest friends. Bish what? Some people need to grow up seriously. Then my closest friend an the same girl lied to my friend and she is annoyed with the girl. Then basically my friend says one thing then does the complete opposite like I don't know, say how much this girl annoys her and then is suddenly 'best friends' with her. 

Ok ok I'll stop being so angry and depressing now, I'll talk about something better! I've been so happy. Other than this week. I've finished vampire diaries, all caught up on pretty little liars and started gossip girl! Food is my bae. Most of my friends have been fab and other than this week and I've mostly had a smile on my face. As you can see...just a little update!x

The January Edit.

I've decided to do a series for the rest of the year. Every month I will write a post called the month name edit. This is to show how the weather changes throughout the year, how my makeup box changes and maybe some other snippets of life.

The other day (mums birthday) it snowed a little bit and has now turned into a weird slush and ice. It is extremely cold at the moment and I hate this kind of weather. My makeup is th best it has ever been but my face has broken out with sooooo many spots! Ugh. 

I have also been loving The Vampire Diaries recently. season 3!

Just a short little overview halfway through January, the starting month of 2015.
