Paris Haul | 2014

Hello everyone! So if you read my last post you would know that I have been to Paris! When I went, I bought a few things so I'm just going to show you them now!

I bought this really cool pen while at the large tower. This pen is the Eiffel Tower with the french flag colours on. To be honest I loved the thought of this and thought it was cute so I bought it!

On the theme of Eiffel Tower's, I bought five of these cute key rings for my friends! I have one gold, two silver, one muted gold and one muted silver! Personally I love the silver ones! I got these because they were a beautiful alternative to a bracelet (and they were 5 for 1€)!

Of course I HAD to buy something from the actual Eiffel Tower gift shop, I bought this gem! It is a snow globe with the Eiffel Tower on it and I could either have a gold one or a silver one so I obviously went for the silver. It looks fresh, beautiful and stylish in my room!

The morning before we went to Disneyland, we stopped off at a hypermarket (a big shopping centre) and I got some food because food is my fave. Whilst looking for some ice tea, these Nutella&Go! pots caught my eye. They are so delicious! I want more!! By the way I found some ice tea if you were wondering;) my obsession!

Sweets are my favourite food haha so, when we got to Disney I went to their sweet shop and oh my god, it was heaven! First I bought these small collectable tins with characters on which have small sweets in. Each different one has a different flavour and I got the peach and apricot and the cherry one. How cute?!

I then bought this gigantic lollipop for 2.99€! This is also cherry flavour and has Eeyor on it! Is that how you spell his name? Oh well! This was so big, it was almost the same size as my face!

Stitch and Aurora are by far my favourite disney characters! I'm starting to collect key rings for my keys and I thought why not get one with this little cutie on it? Quite pricey for what it is but totally worth it in my eyes!

The last thing I bought was my Minnie Mouse ears! I have gold sparkly ones of these from 7 years ago but I wanted the original ones! They only sold them in kids sizes so it is a good job I have quite a small head! one of my favourite items I bought!

A Day (week) In My Life | Paris 2014

Hello everyone!

So long time no see! Today I'm just going to be writing about what I've been up to in the past week.

If you don't know, I went to Paris on a school trip and it was amazing!

The coach journey dragged on but I thought it was quite fun aswell (although we had to sleep for most of it). Then we took a ferry from Dover to Calais! I'd never been on a ferry before and oh my god it was fab and I had a cheeky starbucks;)

After we'd got the coach again to the center of Paris, we walked up the Champs Élysées! This is a long street with expensive shops along it! It had a Sephora, Zara, Nike and..MAC!!! Unfortunately I'm too poor so I didn't even step into mac. When you carry on walking up the street, right at the top, is the famous Arc de Triomphe! 

The next day we took the fastest lift in Europe (38 seconds) up 56 floors! It was so overwhelming! The building is called Montparnarsse Tower if you were wondering and I loved it so so so much! After the lift you walked up 3 sets on stairs because the building actually has 59 floors and the rooftop. You could literally see the WHOLE of Paris from up there! 

After that, we drove to Notre Dame which was so pretty. We came out super early so they let us shop and have a ice cream whilst waiting for the other groups! 

Bearing in mind that it was 35 degrees, we went on a boat for about an hour and we saw all of the monuments. The River is called River Seine.

After sweating a lot, we went to a restaurant called 'Monte Carlo'. All I can say is, take the chips and ONLY the chips if you don't want to eat horse. Hahaha, I'm not joking.

Then it was time for 10 Pin Bowling! I was rubbish though. Our coach driver kindly agreed to give us a night tour of Paris and it was so breathtaking. Paris is indeed a beautiful city.

The next day was fabby too. First we went to the one and only Stade De France! So cool to know that I've had a full tour of such a massive stadium and have stood where one direction have stood. Wow.

Next we went to Versailles. It was such a beautiful place but to be honest it wasn't to my taste. The gardens were so beautiful though! But what is the point when you can't sit on it?!

After that, THE EIFFEL TOWER!!! We walked up the the second floor and I was so proud of myself (scared of heights) and it was totally worth it. Then we had our meal at Monte Carlo again and I must say, it was hilarious. When we'd finished it was time to go to the hotel and pack our bags. Sad times.

The Friday was so exciting. We got to go to DisneyLand! Oh but first we visited the hypermarket and I fell in love. Giant jars of Nutella, Lipton Ice Tea, Arizona Green Tea and Oreos! What more could you want?! 

As I'm scared of rides I didn't go on much but I still had a lovely day! I also bought a few things so watch out for a haul!

That night we went home and I was super sad. Truly the best experience of my life as I love the subject french, I find it fascinating! If you haven't visited the city, PLEASE GO!!!!!!!
